WeFaculty is a unique initiative providing range of knowledge-based services to b-schools to achieve academic excellence. There are more than 1000 b-schools across the country and the number is growing every year. This growth is healthy at macro-level by providing opportunity to many students to pursue a business management program. But there is a large gap in the quality of the b-schools and the value addition they are able to bring in to the students. This has led to a large vacancy in the seats, poor academic quality and poor placements across many b-schools. On the whole, though b-schools are able to put up a good physical infrastructure, academic infrastructure has remained weak. In the future, with further increase in supply, competition among b-schools will become more intense and only those that provide academic excellence will be able to survive. Academic excellence of any b-school is determined by quality of faculty, course curriculum, and vital knowledge inputs to the students in addition to the curriculum and exposure to the dynamics of the industry.
